Float Therapy
Float Therapy, similar to sensory deprivation therapy, suspends the participant in magnesium-rich water, creating a weightless environment free of light and sound. When primary senses are dimmed, the mind is able to clear and the body is able to reach a heightened state of relaxation. The heart rate lowers, blood pressure normalizes, the breathing rate is restored, and digestive functions are regulated. The body becomes highly oxygenated, promoting better blood flow throughout the body and reducing muscle tension, relieving physical pain. Additionally, this process enhances athletic performance by reducing lactic acid in the blood, reducing stiffness and pain, and improving focus.
